Design Inspiration
    -   Dada art movement style
    -   Violence Within is my subtitle
    -   References: Dada art, King George V
    -   Paper collages, cut outs, chaos, historic images
Dada was an art movement formed during the First World War in Zurich in negative reaction to the horrors and folly of the war. The art, poetry and performance produced by DaDa artists is often satirical and nonsensical in nature.
Design Elements and Tools
I designed the book cover with King George V as my frame of reference.  He was a weak king with many outside influences, a reference of Lady Macbeth.  I photographed newspaper clips then digitally layered them in Adobe Photoshop with many layer adjustments and sepia filters to create a collage background.  I cut out various components - red lips, animal eye, brain, crown - to showed the violence and women’s power within the play.  I finished the design in Adobe Illustrator with font design and overall layout.
